You must have an account with BookDepot.com and sign in before adding items to your shopping cart.
Items will remain in your cart until you remove them or complete your purchase.
Adding items to your shopping cart does not 'hold' them or remove them from inventory. Items are sold on
a first-come first served basis, and our inventory moves very quickly, especially during promotions and new
arrival time (between 8:45pm - 9:00pm EST).
Our stock is limited, and titles in your shopping cart may sell out before you complete your purchase. Book prices
are also subject to change. Items are sold on a first-come first served basis.
As you add items to your cart, you'll see a message saying 'x items added to cart'. If you attempt to add more than
the available quantity, you'll notice the 'x items added to cart' message will display the maximum available to be added.
1-Click adding. You do not need to specify a quantity to add to your cart. Just click the Add To Cart button and the
minimum allowed buy quantity will be added to your cart. This feature is not implemented in Quick Buy view, so you don't
have to worry about the entire list being added to your cart.
Your Favorites List is the place to store a list of titles you frequently purchase, so you can quickly see which items are currently in stock.
This list can contain an unlimited number of titles, sorted into custom categories (e.g.: seasonal, themed, subject, most often purchased).
You can add titles which went out of stock in your shopping cart, titles we don't yet have in inventory, or any other items you'd like to
keep in mind for later purchase.
This list does not remove items from inventory or automatically add them to your shopping cart. Each time you visit the site, click on your
favorites list to see which items have arrived for purchase.
Using the My Favorites feature is easy! Follow these instructions and you'll be a pro in no time.
Each order must reach our minimum of $250 USD, excluding taxes, shipping and coupons or credits.
Most titles do not require a minimum per copy purchase. The exception would be sale/promotional or special purchase items, which will have their
minimums indicated on the item page.
We have a program in place to offer automatic discounting for multiple purchases of the same title (placed in one order):
100 to 249 copies - 5%
250 to 499 copies - 7.5%
500 to 999 copies - 10%
This discount will apply to all eligible titles (a note appears on the book item page qualifying the item for a volume purchase discount).
The discount applies on top of any sales or promotional pricing unless otherwise noted.
Discounts will be calculated automatically and displayed in your shopping cart.
Our product is non-refundable. If your order arrives and you notice a shortage, shipping damage or other error, you must report it within
15 days of receipt of product. Please report order issues to service@bookdepot.com. Be sure to include your order number, and a
description of the issue.
If a book was no longer available, you will not be charged for it, and it will appear as a 'zero shipped' item on your packing slip and shipping confirmation.
We include a packing slip in your shipment. You will also receive an order and shipping confirmation via e-mail, and can access past orders at
any time via your online receipts.
Due to the nature of the titles we purchase, we are unable to place back orders. If a title sells out we can not back order the item. You can, however,
add the item to your Favorites List. Your favorites list will allow you to quickly check availability of selected
titles and add them to your shopping cart.
We do our best to ship only first quality product. In the event your order contains damaged or defective
merchandise, we will refund the portion of the order for the damaged or defective book(s). If the amount
is less than or equal to $50.00, an electronic coupon will be issued to be used against a future order.
If the amount is over $50.00 we will give you the option of a purchase coupon, credit back to your credit
card or apply a credit against your account for OAC customers.
